This paper purposes to divide natural seasons in Korea. the major data used in this paper are surface weather gyps over East Asia during the 30 years (1961-1990). The division of natural seasons in Korea was investigated by factor analysis of daily frequencies of air pressure patterns in Korean peninsula and its surroundings. Factor analysis provided four factors above eigenvalue 1.0 and the four factors account for 67.8% of total variance. The natural seasons in Korea are divided into 8 seasons by the discontinuity of daily four factor scores. Early Spring circulation occurred during 1 March to 26 March, Spring 27 Match to 1 June, late Spring 2-6 June to 23 June, Changma 24 June to 23 July, Mid-summer 24-27 July to 14 August, late Changma 15-18 August to 17 September, Autumn 18 September to 20 November, and Whiter 21-23 November to 28 February.
