This paper is a study on Le Corbusier"s "Rustic Masonry wall’. Starting with Loucheur in 1929, the texture of stone covered by white paint began to be revealed. There is a process in which the texture of the natural stone extends from ‘facing wall’ to ‘part of the elevation’ and ‘all of the elevation." There’s also a precursor to the ‘Rustic Masonry wall’ in vernacular architecture experienced during childhood and journey to the East. LC has been close to nature since childhood and has been interested in vernacular and natural materials, which has emerged as a "Rustic Masonry wall". The wall is no longer interpreted as a background for the object, but as an extension of the Objets à Réaction Poétique. In addition, he tried to closely connect nature and architecture in the process of revealing the natural texture.
