Objective: The process and information system of a small special sale furniture company should flow according to the specificity of the industry, from receiving orders to manufacturing, supplying, and installing A/S, but the level is far behind. Therefore, in this study, through the case of Company Z, we intend to conduct research on the improvement of business processes and information systems that can be applied in practice to fit the special characteristics of small and medium-sized furniture companies. Background: Small and medium-sized special sales furniture companies lack systematic management know-how, financial resources, and information infrastructure establishment. In addition, it is not easy to collect and maintain the company’s own data because the work process or prior information is not standardized, quantified depending on the project purpose. Method: A literature study was conducted to investigate the investment status in the information field of the special edition furniture industry and small and medium-sized order industries. In addition, work processes and information system construction examples by industry characteristics and their important functions were rearranged.
