To date, various human-on-a-chip device have been developed to understand drug-induced cardiac toxicity at the prescreening stage of drug development. However, typical systems have limitations in the high-throughput and high-precision systems configuration due to the use of optical systems or metal strain sensors as measurement systems. Here, we propose polymer cantilever arrays integrated with doped Si strain sensors for real-time detection of mechanical properties of cardiomyocytes in vitro.
