Magnetization manipulation by a Spin Orbit Torque (SOT) phenomena using novel heavy materials has intense focus on the efficient operation of spintronic devices at lower powers. The previously published theoretical work suggested that a W₃Ta layer might have a large spin hall angle, compared with those of the well-known Heavy Metals such as W, Ta.
