During Hot Forming Quenching (HFQ)process, the Mn22B5 blank is firstly heated beyond the austenitizing temperature, directly put into the dies where it is pressed and quenched subsequently. During this process, the tools (the dies materials) suffer from poor wear resistance upon continuous pressing steps. In an attempt to improve the wear resistance of SKD 61 tools, Q&P heat treatment was adopted.
