<Abstract> A Proposal for the Research of ‘Human Ecology’ Lee, Hyun―Ji Ecological disruption is the very important factor that threats the future of human being. Natural ecological disruption has been a matter of grave concern. On the other hand, social ecological disruption and cultural ecological disruption has been unconcerned as a dependant variable. They have been only treated as a independent variable which causes the natural ecological disruption. However, human ecological disruption itself is very serious problem. It threats seriously the peaceful world and happy life. Therefore, this paper suggests to include cultural ecology and social ecology as an area of ecological research. And this paper suggests which kind of topics can be managed in the area of human ecological research. And in this paper, it is suggested to approach in terms of world view to reveal the cause and to show an alternative plan of current human ecological crisis. In terms of world view, what is the main cause of human ecological disruption? The answer suggested in this paper is the antagonistic view of confrontation. As the results of antagonistic view of confrontation, among various culture and among various groups, tension and conflicts has been heighten. What can be the alternative view of confrontation of the antagonistic view of confrontation? The answer suggested in this paper is the view of confrontation as tui tai. The view of confrontation as tui tai presupposes of mutual dependence and mutual identity among confronting matters. The view of confrontation as tui tai can show a new order in which various culture and groups harmonize with one another.
