Li Tui-xi was a great thinker in ancient Korea. On the problems, he put forward principles that one country should not force its views and systems on others, and should understand and respect each other, defend friendly relations from the overall situation, observe the agreements, treat honestly, not forget war preparedness in peace time and keep defense capability, judge the hour and size up the situation and realize peace in opportune time, and so on. These ideas stemmed from his humanity ideas. Paying attention to people's safety and danger, being eager to benefit country and reassure people, peaceful coexisting firstly and fighting as a last method, these were the basic starting point of Li Tui-xi's humanity ideas on the peace problems.
