This study was performed to improve frist aid training strategies for health teacher groups, through the analysis of education necessity and cognition concerning first aid. Datas were collected from 165 health teachers from July 1 to 26. 2007. The subjects were given a questionnaire to answer over the interview. There were male(12.2%) and female(87.8%). The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, The education center was office of education57.1%), office of fire department(17.1%). Second, experience of first aid was 64.4%. Third, cognition of CPR was 61.6%. Fourth, education necessity was very wanted 30% and just wanted 59.3%. Fifth, education necessity of a education curriculum was very wanted 66% and just wanted 29%. Sixth, education time was 32 hours(45.9%), 8 hours(16.9%). Seventh, education necessity of school curriculum was middle school(41.4%), primary school(18.9%). The education training for health teacher in First Aid and emergency care required the likelihood of medical emergencies at school. The health teacher felt the education necessity of first aid. However The health teacher of cognition found to be inadequate based on our survey questionnaire. Thus, It is necessary to strengthen first aid and emergency care training for health teachers at school.
