The purpose of this study was to analyze the body composition and muscular strength change, on the basis of BMI standard after aerobic exercise and weight training for 12 weeks on the subjects of study composed of 21 obese old women and the other 21 normal old women. All of them(obese and normal old women) took mixed exercise, they had physical check on several items including weight change, body fat, basic physical strength, BMR, BMI, blood pressure and total cholesterol, before and after taking exercise respectively. The measured data by use of SPSS 12.0 version statistic program, was analyzed with two-way ANOVA with repeated measure for the difference verification of variables before and after taking exercise. The significant level was set at .05. From the results of analysis, it's found that the 12-weeks mixed exercise had generally a positive influence on the body composition and physical strength change of obese old women. Therefore, it's concluded that regular mixed exercise would be helpful to leading more health and positive and active life for the elderly, and it is the requirement of the highest priority for health and long life.
