This study provides a review of the human relations types between ski coaches and ski players. This study consisted of a random sampling of 79 ski players, men and women, who are registered in Korea Ski Association and belong to high schools and universities, in 2006. It is examined through a technical analysis and T-test to the purpose. Results reveal that : First, in regard of the principle of behavior between coaches and players, the coaches are concerned about players equally, treat them fairly, have equal affection toward them and take impartial consideration in player’s personal circumstances. Secondly, in regard of the official standing of coaches, superior to players, the coaches stress their official authority, meddle in everything or give instructions and orders in detail. Thirdly, in regard of the extent of contact between coaches and players, the human relations between them is ordinary in the unofficial time except the exercise time. Fourthly, in regard of the emotional harmony between coaches and players, both of them share mutual kindness, understanding, cooperation and affection as members belonged to a team. Fifthly, in regard of the coach’s evaluation of player’s behavior, the coaches evaluate positively the player’s performance, encourage them, pat them on the back, reward them and recognize their abilities. Finally, in regard of the direction of communication between coaches and players, both of them express their opinions freely, interchange information and respect other’s opinion or need. In the analysis of variance of the human relationship’s types, there is meaningful difference statistically between high school players and university players, only in the emotional harmony, inferior factor of the human relations. Both of them are receptive, university players being more receptive.
