The purpose of this study was to investigate the phase time, mediolateral displacement of the head, angle of the right knee joint, angle of the left knee joint, rotation angle of the hip joint, rotation angle of the shoulder joint, twist angle of the torso, and angle of the trunk inclination of the kinematics variables between driver and middle iron club while subjects execute golf swing setting through the analysis of 3D video and GRF. The subjects participating in this study were skilled 7 male semi-professional players, who have never been injured for last six months, in Busan, respectively. The conclusions are as follows: 1) The time of the phase of the middle iron swing at P3(impact event to finish event) was faster than the driver swing. 2) The mediolateral displacement of the head has not a significant difference between driver and middle iron swing. 3) The angle of the right and left knee joint has not a significant difference between driver and middle iron swing. 4) The rotation angle of the hip joint of the driver swing at E4(finish event) was higher than the middle iron swing. 5) The rotation angle of the shoulder joint has not a significant difference between driver and middle iron swing. It shows 92.54° of the driver swing at E2(top of back swing) and then 91.77° of the middle iron swing at E2 and 12.14° of the driver swing at E3(impact event) and then 9.89° of the middle iron swing at E3. 6) The twist angle of the torso has not a significant difference between driver and middle iron swing. It shows 42.31° of the driver swing at E3(impact event) and then 40.78° of the middle iron swing at E3. 7) The angle of the trunk inclination of the middle iron swing at E1(middle of back swing) and E2 was higher than the driver swing.
