The objective of this study is to look at the influence of job satisfaction of university sports athletes on the organizational commitment and turnover intention. For this purpose, 100 questionnaire sheets were distributed to the Intercollegiate athletes in the 4 universities located in metropolitan area. The 368 sheets were included in the analysis excluding 32 sheets that included insincere answers, empty sheets and not collected sheets. As a result on than male, individual events athletes showed higher organization commitment than group events athletes, and for turnover inter studying perception level of the athletes about each variable using ANOVA and t-test, female athletes showed more job satisfaction, the sophomore perceived it than the senior. As a result of studying influences of each variable through regression analysis, although job satisfaction had significant influence on organizational commitment, there was not significant influence on turnover intention and the normative commitment which is a sub variable of organizational commitment did not have significant influence on turnover intention. As a result, the athletes could commit themselves in the organization if they are satisfied with their job which is being an athlete; however, it did not influence on the reduction of turnover rate. This could be assumed from several examples of the athletes who goes out the professional league before graduating or quitting sports. Also, for Intercollegiate athletes, to have pride in their job as an athlete is very important.
