This study investigated the level of satisfaction students had with their respective universities, in relation to the students' participation in leisure activities. The subjects were 549 students from the following four universities: Chonnam University, Chosun University, Mokpo University, and Dongshin University. The program ANOVA in SPSS for Win 12.0 was used for the purpose of data analysis and Scheffe was used for post evaluation. Following are the results.First, it was found that the choice of different leisure activities did not make a statistically significant difference in overall life satisfaction. Leisure activities were chosen according to each person's character and interests.Second, life satisfaction was measured in relation to the level of activity in leisure activities. Students were ranked according to their participation level in social activities, sports activities, and outdoor activities. It was found that participation level was directly related to the level of life satisfaction. The higher the level of participation, the higher the level of life satisfaction.Third, university satisfaction was measured in relation to the types of leisure activities chosen. Among leisure activities, it was found that satisfaction with one's university was highest for those who participated in sports activities. Finally, university satisfaction was considered comparing participation in static indoor activities, with those activities that are dynamic such as outdoor or sports activities. It was found that those who participated in dynamic leisure activities had a higher level of satisfaction with their university than whose who participated primarily in static activities.
