This research was investigated about actual state of leisure activity and leisure field of wanting to intervention objects of eighty adult mental retardation person＇s in residence Gyeong -buk.The purpose of this research got to the basic data for their leisure activity instruction through this investigation that what kinds of leisure field, They proper to also, How many people do take part in a certain leisure field.To accomplish this purpose, This researcher got to the conclusion base on the precedence data.The first, Intervention of the employed is higher than the unemployed. Therefore, we have to support of economic and work to them also, develope leisure program for unemployed in the welfare facilities.The second, According to the distinction of sex. desires of intervention is very variety. For male, instruction of leisure need to this field ； exercise, computer game, climbing, etc.The third, For low in come handicapped person, leisure activity instruction enforce for free Because, frequency, economic factors prevent their leisure activity. so, we must consider their economic state.
