This research is to identify the difference of dance sports participants' self-management in terms of their exercise skill, frequency, intensity and period. The subjects amounting to 703(male: 236, female 467) consisted of 187 in 20s, 146 in 30s, 204 in 40s, and 166 in 50s. The participants' self-management is measured by the Korean ASMQ scale, Exploratory Factor Analysis of which is made of five sub-factors. construct validity was testified with Confirmatory Factor Analysis. One-way MANOVA took the sub-factors of self-management as a dependent variable and showed significance in participants' exercise skill, frequency, intensity and period. According to the result of Post-Hoc Test, ANOVA, group who ,they think, were good at dance sports had higher scale in sub-factors of self-management. In connection with frequency, group who exercised everyday had more understanding of training management and mental reading management. In relation to intensity, group who exercised intensively had more understanding of training management, mental reading management, and finally personal routine management than others. Finally, in terms of period, group who played dance sports for long had more understanding of training management and finally personal routine management than others. In the discriminant analysis on skill, frequency, intensity and period, cases correctly classified were 45% in skill, 42% in frequency, 46% in intensity and 40% in period. These results were based on previous researches and theories on self-management.
