The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of continuance exercise on mental health status in people in white color managers and to determine this information the effectiveness of applied exercise for stress clients. The subjects of this study consisted of 60 people, white color managers of men between the ages 30~40years. They were randomly assigned to an continuance exercise group(n=30) & unexercised group(n=30). The subjects of continuance exercise group was exercise for 16week(60min/day, 4week/week). Exercise frequency consisted of 4times per weeks and the exercise duration was 60minutes. In order to measure the results of the regular exercise & unexercised group were measured aspects of mental health status. The collected data were processed by SPSS PC+ and analyzed by the X2 test, t-test. The results were as follows : The positive mental health status(self-esteem) in the exercise group showed statistically significant improvement when compared to the unexercised group(t=4.12, p<.01). The negative mental health status(somatization, depression, anxiety, hostility, psychoticism and global severity index in the exercise group showed statistically significant decrease when compared to unexercised group(t=3.61, P<.01: t=3.83, P<.01: t=2.66, P<.05: t=4.28, P<.01). In conclusion, the regular exercise showed significant effects of mental health status.
