This study surveyed and analyzed the nutritional knowledge, eating habits, food preferences and nutrition intakes. 48.5% of the athletes get nutrition information and most of them(61.1%) get such information from amateur, and they want to get information from a nutritionist or nutritionexpert. The lever of nutrition knowledge proved to be very low(the athletes on assessment test) and the athletes who have had access to nutrition information of players appeared to score slightly better than the others. 37.9% of the students tended to have breakfast in an irregular pattern, The athletes in choosing the most important mealtime element out of the choices of flavor of food, and athletes' eating habits as 45.7 of them answered that their parents are the most important influence in developing their eating habits. The survey on food preference of the athletes discovered that most of the food, more than 80% of Taekwondo players liked very much, but the survey on preference of fish and vegetable category are low. When it comes to gender, noodles and instant noodles are significantly more(P<.05). An average male Taekwondo player had 1859kcal, 68%of the recommended level, while the average female had 1788kcal,85%of what is normally suggested. Female athletes ate significantly more fat than males, however the average vitamin A intake of male athletes were substantially higher(P<.05). There was significant correlations between the level of athletes' basic nutrition knowledge and their Calcium (p<.01) and Vitamin B2 (p<.05)intake. In addition, the level of nutrition knowledge on calorie-providing foods was significantly correlated (p<.05) with Calcium, Kalium, and Vitamin C consumption respectively. Overall nutrition knowledge also had a significant correlation (p<.05) with Calcium intake.
