Conducted on professional golf players, ordinary golfers, beginners, this research proposes an efficient method for increasing power by carrying out X-Factor and kinematic analyses of each part of the body. In back-swing, shoulder angles were significantly different between professionals, 98.17 degrees; ordinary golfers, 91.68 degrees; and beginners, 82.44 degrees, while hip angles exhibited no significant differences with professionals, 52.65 degrees; ordinary golfers, 52.45 degrees, and beginners, 53.67 degrees. X-Factor were significantly different between each group of players: professionals were 45.52 degrees, ordinary golfers, 39.25 degrees, and beginners, 28.76 degrees, while no significant discrepancies were observed in wrist angle among players. Head sway were not much different statistically, showing 6 cm for professionals, 7 cm for ordinary golfers and 10 cm for beginners. In back-swing, hip angles were not much different between professionals, ordinary golfers and beginners, and the degree of X-Factor was largest for professionals, followed by ordinary golfers and beginners. Therefore it can be seen that X-Factor increases as shoulder rotation angles increases. Overall, this research, which mainly looked into the difference among different groups for rotating lower and upper bodies, showed that there were significant differences during rotation of a upper body and the importance of learning the accurate swing motions after knowing its principle as beginners consistently repeated the same movements in bad positions.
