This study has a purpose, finding the relation between the tendency addicted to sports and adaptation in life. First of all, it verified the investigation objects, differences of a tendency addicted to sports at each excreta. Second, it verified the relation between adaptation in life according to tendency addicted to sports. The objects of investigation are participated 488 members in a sports club located in Gangwondo, who are 118 runners, 182 swimmers and 188 bowling players etc. Study selects the questionnaire which developed by Shin Gyu-ry(1999) in order to meet sports measure to each sports. And the questionnaire about adaptation in life: SASS(Social Adaptation Self-rating Scale) is also used. It was adapted by Han Seung-baek to be suited to domestic affairs. The Cronbach's αcoefficient of the questionnaire for the tendency addicted to sports is .705 ～.898. And the coefficient for adaptation in life is .71～.89. The tendency addicted to sports is appeared significant difference according to frequency of sports participation. However, the differences according to sex, age, personal sports history and participating time.The tendency addicted to sports gets high to swimmers and runners than bowling players. As the tendency addicted to sports is high, adaptation to working, leisure and society gets high. On the other hand, the bowling players are adapted at home better than runners and swimmers. That is, there are significant differences of the relation between adaptation in life and the tendency addicted to sports.
