The kind and ratio of polymer materials consisted in each refuse component will change in response to the change of refuse components. Because characteristics of decomposition according to each polymer material is different characteristics of decomposition of each refuse component differs. In this study, we evaluated that the gas quality and production from each refuse component using simulated column test. In results, It was knew that CH4 production was very big from food, paper, textile, and wood refuse. However, CH4 production was very small from plastics/rubbers, metals/glass, bricks/soils (demolition refuse) and ashes. meanwhile, Methane production from each refuse component can be viewed as consisting of several stages. In nonlinear regression results using experimental data and Modified Gompertz model, It was knew that CH4 production rate was difference by each refuse component. And the CH4 production rate at each stage was difference in a refuse component. The CH4 production from food, paper, textile, and woods refuse was each 35.0, 3.7, 1.7 and 2.3 L CH4/kg wet refuse. And, in the first stage, CH4 production rate was each 0.0057, 0.0126, 0.0062 and 0.0106 L CH4/kg wet refuse·day.
