This paper attempts to understand some of the characteristics of the new labor policy paradigm of European Union after Maastricht Treaty. The paradigm shift of EU's new labor policy can be shown more clearly in the EU's employment strategies. In chapter two, the author starts with an explanation of a historical background of the new labor policy of European Union and also its development. In chapter three, he describes the structure of the new labor policy and employment strategies of The European Union after the Maastricht Treaty. In chapter IV, it is illustrated some evaluation of the characteristics of the new integration policy of EU in relation to the new labor policy. In chapter V, he suggests some policy implications of EU's new labor and employment policy in globalization processes for Korean Society. In conclusion, the author tries to provide some comparative sociological lessons to korean government which plans to experiment the Korean New Deal Policy in the face of the new economic crisis.
