1. CONTENTS(1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVESThe purpose of this study is to find out the prospective housing preference of the mid-agers who become old agers in the near future. Basic data for elderly housing policy is provided by doing this research.(2) RESEARCH METHODFrequency analysis through questionnaire survey(3) RESEARCH RESULTSResearch results show that most respondents want to live in the suburbs and single family detatched housing and apartment with size of 20-30pyuung and 10-20pyung. They also like to live alone or with a spouse rather than living with their children. Most respondents prefer owner occupied housing and hope to live public rental housing for the elderly represent if it is provided by government. However, these responses vary with incone groups.
