This paper aims to investigate the Aramaic influence in Late Biblical Hebrew (late Aramaism). The study is focused on the use of determined object maker lamed in LBH prophet books and LBH Hagiography. By comparing the extent of Aramaism through this phenomenon in these two corpora, dated c.a. BC 500 and BC 400, one may observe how the Aramaic influence is reflected in BH in general and within LBH in particular. The research data shows that Aramaic influence appears diachronically between these corpora and LBH prophets demonstrate a beginning phase of late Aramaism in the use of lamed as a determined object maker.
