The goal of this research is to propose concept, design, and planning methods of the integrated wayfinding system through the introduction of a case project, "Da-Hak-Ro wayfinding system for cultural facilities". A properly designed wayfinding system enhances an environment by guiding users to and from their destination of choice, and provides holistic and easy-to-understand wayfinding experience to users. The existing wayfinding systems of DaeHak-Ro, diminish users' overall satisfaction with their visits due to the fragmented information and the inappropriate settings of the wayfinding systems, without consideration of user behavior and environmental context. Therefore, this research presents user-centered design methods including user survey, experiment, and persona-based scenario method to create the integrated wayfinding system.
