There are many different understandings in interpreting the Holy Scripture. the synchronic method, a new method of biblical interpretation , is attempted in a recently trend of pentateuch research. this synchronic method meets with intention of history back ground and the writer of main text relationship with main text with the individual without and from the interpret a main text it searches meaning. also the synchronic method originates to three elements, rhetorical criticism, structural criticism and narrative criticism. but this method is different from traditional reformed biblical interpretation it is only another method in biblical criticism. For example Juda in chapter thirty-eight of genesis is wears out under bible interpret of synchronic method. but Juda accomplishes covenant of God levirate marriage under method of reformed biblical interpretation. a understanding of genesis thirty-eight under of correct exegesis about levirate marriage in deuteronomy twenty-five. the term of LEVIRATE in levirate marriage from the law-latin term LEVIR a husband's brother, the name applied to an ancient usage of the hebrews, reordained by Moses(Gen. 38: Deut. 25:5-10) the levirate marriage requires when an israelite died without leaving male issue his brother with him was compelled to marry to widow and continue his deceased brother's family through the first-born son issuing from such as the heir of the former husband. if the second also died without progeny she could ask the third and so on the object of this levirate marriage is to raise up seed to the departed brother. we are told this levirate marriage in genesis thirty-eight Er, Judah's eldest son who was married to Tamar died without son. the second son, Onan was called upon to marry his deceased brother's widow an that time when he again died leaving no children Tamar the widow has still a claim up on the only surviving son Shelah for whom she had to wait as he was not as yet marriageable. but judah, father-in-law, did not give Shelah as her husband to Tamar daughter-in-law. Ultimately Juda himself had to marry his daughter-in-law, Tamar. Juda was father of Perez whose mother was Tamar Perez was in a record of the genealogy of Jesus christ(matt. 1: 3). Also we can think that The five husbands of Samaritan woman was Levir, Goel. The men of Samarian woman have to marriage with her(John 4:1-26).
