Recently, energy recovery of wastes has been focused to reduce green house gas and to obtain renewable energy. Construction of the System of Systems (SoS) is very effective for the energy recovery of wastes. In the developed country framework has been used in the various field. However, in the field of the energy recovery of wastes, concept of framework has not been established. In this research, framework was developed to analyze and evaluate a waste gasification system which is important component in SoS. Also, an appropriate gasification system was selected by the framework developed to combine with acetic acid production system. Matrix construction of Zachman framework was adapted to develop the analysis and assesment framework. The framework for a gasification system was consisted of 3 perspectives, 14 items and 49 indicators. In the framework 8 items and 11 indexes were selected to combine an appropriate gasification system with acetic acid production system. The framework developed established systematically the concept of a waste gasification system to combine with acetic acid production system and suggested consistent perspective. As the result of gasification system assessment by the framework, fixed-bed gasification and melting system was the most feasible of 4 types of gasification systems to combine with acetic acid production system.
