This paper explores the voices of the teacher trainers who worked at the preparation training for the English conversation specialists into elementary schools in Gyeonggi-do. Eight teacher trainers were surveyed and interviewed through e-mails with a questionnaire including semi-structured interview questions about their conceptions and opinions with regard to the introduction of English conversation specialists into elementary schools. The survey and the interview questions include conceptions, opinions, and evaluations about the introduction of English specialists for elementary schools and the preparation training program. They also include the roles of the English specialists and their relationships with the teachers in the school, and the things to be kept in mind for the school administrators such as principals and vice-principals as well as classroom teachers and teachers in charge of English. The respondents showed much concern about the English specialists into the school and the practical issues such as how to teach with them. With the results of the analysis some suggestions are made for the introduction of the English conversation specialists.
