The king Mu(武王) is establishing the Mireuksa Temple(彌勒寺) in the area of Iksan(益山). The persons who are paid attention to in this process are Sunhwa princess(善花公主) and the Chi-myung Buddhist priest(知命法師). The name of sunhwa(善花 혹은 善化) is related with the Mireuksunhwa(彌勒仙花). And the occult power of Chi-myung Buddhist priest(知命法師) is connected with a native religious belief. Thus, the Mireuksa Temple(彌勒寺)’s establishment of the king Mu(武王) is accepting the elements which are in native religious belief. Actually, he wants to get some results through these efforts. Firstly, he tries to absorb the religious system of the past to promote and inform Buddhism widely. In addition, he wants to show the sovereign power of the Cakravartin(轉輪聖王) which results from these efforts. And finally he intends to integrate various public opinions into one, so he wants to win wars against foreign nations and save his subjects, which is the meaning of the advent of a Maitreya(彌勒下生).
