In discussing the issues on boundary, this study defined the boundary as contact point of physical and psychologicalsphere crossed with the two different world and divide them into visible boundary and invisible boundary distributed in thetraditional residence of three countries. This study progress the study in revealing their peculiarity and identity in the sense ofutilization of architecture equipment and in the way of mixture between visible and invisible ones. The issues on comparingresidential cultures in three countries of Korea, China and Japan as representing countries in east Asia is required to extractidentity of Korean residential culture. So, this study tried to compare the sense of boundary of traditional residence in threecountries since modern ages and put the purpose of our dissertation on analyzing their own value system toward residenceattitude, which was not only accumulated in their own residential culture and was but also shared with oriental reasonabilityunder the wide umbrella of east Asia residential culture.
