In recent years, there are some trend words such as mind cure and healing through the media in the society. People who want healing throughout our society are increasing, but it is time to have more influenced healing rather than temporary and not fundamental one. The house we lived in has been functionalized, but rather, we are uncomfortable at home. After all, healing fashion nowadays might be related to the crisis of the house. Traditional Korean House (Hanok) which evolved spontaneously from the past to the present has been revaluated as a future alternative housing because the aspects of housing are losing from the rapid spread of the apartments in these days. Hanok having its cultural specificity, healing properties and also the most intimate environmental factor is a medium that has recently become an alternative to the social issues. This study is based on user benefit criteria from Murtha and Lee and environmental psychology theories. The purpose of study is for researching modern and Korean style healing environment from healing desire of the times through traditional Korean house as a medium, and healing properties in the modern Hanok which is alternative to the modern residential could be used for future Modern Hanok residential.
