A Landscape of the Riverside(『천변풍경』) contemplates the problem of people who lived in the most problematic area of Cheonggyecheon, Seoul of the 1930s. A life Creative and contemporary manner that is gentle to the development of day-to-day lives are citing melt the landscape of modern times it has been presented to us as one of the cattle that put the recognition of contemporary life. The landscape could be presented as an episteme because that Cheonggyecheon is the stream of historical and social space. Cheonggyecheon is imaged as a cultural representation to reproduce the spatial structure of capitalist development aspects of Korean society in the 1930s geometric. It is the way in which the sleep of an age episteme borrow Foucault's term and will in this way be reproduced through the epic space action. It is in terms of Cheonggyecheon is being reproduced as a visual adventure landscape that experienced the space of the city. The washing place and barber shop located in the center of the space that is spacious, has a narrative description of the characters and also through the observer is also the place to be imaged as a modern way of experiencing space through to readers. Individual characters are the way to create a new modern reflexive subject. They made a reflexive modernity through the countryside and the oppositional notion of Seoul, tradition and modernity. It appears as a figure of collapse and the formation of a new social benefit of traditional communities. The central space of reflexivity is a washing place and a barber shop in Cheonggyecheon have shown beyond a simple aesthetic reflexivity reproduced as visual perception as a place of communication.
