This study is aimed to research the restoration and utilization of Frank Lloyd Wright's 39 houses converted to public use based on the residential lists of his Foundation. As a result, the 39 houses for pubic use are respectively converted and restored to the 27 museums(70%), 8 rentals(20%), and 4 places(10%) for guesthouses and cultural education. The museum houses provide themselves with a variety of tour programs, and have a great impact on the surroundings through the relationship with the park, other historic buildings, and artifacts. The rentals, which offer unforgettable artistic and sensory experiences of Frank Lloyd Wright’s vision, were erected for prefab and farmhouse in the late Usonian period. Stewardship of 39 houses mainly happens within the organization systems such as Foundation and Conservancy. The Conservancy provides architectural engineering, technical support and assistance, and other professional services for constituents. The owners of them are classified with 25 non-profit communities(64%), 5 each university and private, 2 each administration and company. The 11 communities, which have the only wright's house excluding other buildings, operate actively the various programs with restoration project. Especially, the universities show possibilities of sustainable management through economic activities between professors, experts, and students.
