This study investigates the influence of the shadowing learning method on a learner’s English listening and speaking skills when there are differences in learning duration and learning intensity. One hundred ninety nine Korean university students participated as the experimental subjects and were divided into four groups to analyze the effect of the shadowing learning method. The subjects were given the TOEIC for investigating the improvement of English listening skills as the listening pre-post test and the VET for determining the improvement of English speaking skills as speaking pre-post test. The research comparatively analyzed the detailed items of the pre and post average test scores of the four groups with different learning duration and intensity. Consequently, the more the learning duration and intensity increased, the greater the shadowing learning method showed remarkable effect
