요골동맥을 이용한 관상동맥 중재술은 합병증 발생률이 적고 환자의 주관적 만족도도 높아서 시행 빈도가 점차 증가하고 있다. 하지만 요골동맥은 대퇴동맥보다 가늘고 해부학적 변이가 다양하여 요골동맥 손상이 발생할 가능성이 항상 존재한다. 저자들은 요골동맥을 이용한 관상동맥 중재술 후에 발생한 전완부 구획증후군 증례를 경험하였는데, 아직까지국내 문헌에 보고된 바가 없기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 증례를 보고하고자 한다.
