Children at home are at risk of many accidents, and the types of accidents include fall, burn, cut, electric shock, and suffocation, etc. However, there is a lack of research that studies “child safety at home” from an international aspect to identify the trends as well as research subjects. For this reason, this study was intended to identify international research trends related to home safety issues using Google Trends and bibliometrics analysis techniques in terms of Web of Science (‘WoS’). The result shows that firstly, using Google Trends, a search for children by combining five types of safety accidents at home, it was found that fall accidents were searched the most frequently, whereas when searching for toddlers, cutting accidents were the most frequent. Secondly, using VOSviewer with 3,864 research articles from WoS, keywords were classified into three clusters; “Abuse, Child maltreatment, Foster care” in 〈Cluster 1〉, “Behavior, Childhood, Exposure” in 〈Cluster 2〉, and “Depression, Experiences, Health” in 〈Cluster 3〉. As a result of this series of analysis, it is clear that the research papers related to child safety at home are increasing year by year, and therefore parents and families need to pay more attention to their children.
