This study examined the use of Internet personal broadcasting and the changes in consciousness through digital ethics education among elementary school students. The study surveyed the students who took after-school computer classes in J Elementary School in Gyeonggi-do. In general, the students watched personal broadcasts on the Internet, but only a few of them produced their own videos. Results indicated they adhere to digital ethics with prior educational experience. Pre-measurement averages further suggest that the students have a high sense of ethics. Post-measurement scores indicate that the value of Responsibility has improved from 4.09 to 4.38 above the significance level(p<.011). In the areas of Abstinence(3.88→4.05) and Participation(4.23→4.41), the post-average was higher, but not statistically significant. Continuous and repetitive digital ethics education is found to help students have abstinence, respect, and responsibility. The study likewise confirmed that the students would at least try to protect themselves when doing digital creative activities. Finally, the importance of digital ethics education has been verified as also noted in other previous studies.
