Oculo-palatal tremor (OPT) is characterized by a low-frequencytremor of the eyes and soft palate. It is mainly observedin patients with hypertrophic degeneration of the inferior olivarynucleus. In this syndrome, the muscles that originate fromthe branchial arches may be involved, such as those of the face,tongue, floor of the mouth, pharynx, larynx, and diaphragm.1However, the involvement of skeletal muscle has rarely beenreported. Herein, we report the case of a patient with delayedoculo-palato-brachial tremor (OPBT) who showed distinct involuntarymovement on a video, as well as inferior olivary nucleushypertrophy after pontine infarction by brain magnetic resonanceimaging (MRI). Additionally, this case contributes towidening the clinical spectrum of OPT.
