The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the current status of thecurriculum for patient care in radiological science to seek and attempt ways to improve futureeducation in radiological science. In 45 universities where the department of radiologicalscience was established, the university curriculum for patient nursing was investigated. Thenumber of hours, credits, semesters, options and requirements, theory and practice of patientcare curriculum were investigated in 23 three-year colleges and 22 four-year universities. In 45colleges where the department of radiological science was established, 15 colleges with three-yearprograms and seven four-year universities were surveyed. In 15 three-year colleges that openedpatient care courses, the number of hours was 2 hours, credits were 2 credits, and were offeredin all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. Two universities were opened with theory and practice, and 13universities had lectures with theory. In four-year colleges, there were one college with 1 hourand 1 credit, and one with 3 and 3 credits, and 5 colleges had 2 hours and 2 credits. The openinggrades were opened in various ways from the 1st to the 4th, and all lectures were conducted intheory. In conclusion, it is necessary to establish additional patient care to develop professionalskills and abilities to efficiently service patients when working in clinical practice after graduation.
