This paper is to explore a detailed analysis of the ink writing marks in the thirteen century written in the wood-block printing 『The Lotus Sutra』in the Goryeo Dynasty owned by Girimsa Temple. The summary of what was discussed in this paper is as follows. First, the marks written in 『The Lotus Sutra』owned by Girimsa Temple can be classified into five types: dot, line, tapered line, check, and en space. Second, there are about 55 types of JatoGugyeol written in 『The Lotus Sutra』 housed by Girimsa Temple: (가), (거), (고), (과), 󰑒(ㄱ/기), (긔), (나), (노), (니), (ᄂᆞ), (ᄂᆞᆯl), (ㄴ/은), 󰑙(ᄃᆞ), (ᄃᆞᆯ), (다), (대), 󰑖(더), (뎡), (도), (두), (디), (드), (ᄃᆡ), (라), (로), (리), (ㄹ/을), (마), (며), (면), /(ㅅ), (ᄉᆞ), (ᄉᆞᆲ), (ᅀᅡ), (사), (서), (셔), (소), (쇼), (시), (시), (아), /(어), /(여), 󰑨(와), (의), (이), (지), (ᄒᆞ), (하), /(호) and there are about 250 types of binding. Third, as a result of analyzing the meaning of the marks that have the same structure as the marks with the special form among the ink writing marks, the study reached the following results. (1) The mark ‘󰠇’ is used to close a sentence and indicates the meaning of the present progress. (2) The mark ‘󰠍’ is used to connect sentences to indicate the meaning of the listing. (3) The mark ‘󰠎’ indicates ‘the process of events or time difference. (4) The mark ‘󰌃’ is used for the closing of a sentence to indicate the meaning of the past. (5) The compound marks ‘󰠃∨’ and ‘‵∨’ are both humbled in the sentence connection. The meaning of ‘∨󰠃’ is the descriptive form of sentence closing. (6) The complex form corresponds to ‘～이러니’ and is used to express the meaning of a flashback of the past. (7) The complex form corresponds to ‘～하셔서’ and is judged to have a meaning that indicates the preceding(先行) or the starting point(起點) of an action. And (8) the compound form corresponds to ‘～하시니라’ and was used to indicate the meaning of the ending of the sentence. (9) The compound form corresponds to ‘～하더니’ and indicates the meaning of the past. And (10) the complex form corresponds to ‘～하시니’ and was used to indicate the meaning of a continuation of an action.
