Phraseological units are traditionally of major research interest. They are usually investigated from etymological, grammatical and semantic viewpoints. We consider typological and comparative-typological analyses to be of particular significance, since they frequently reveal a number of national and cultural characteristics. These characteristics of language speakers are discovered by thorough interpretation of grammatical and semantic meanings of language units, constituting phraseological units. This article presents structural-grammatical and semantic analysis of phraseological units that denote physical human condition. This work analyses phraseological fusions, unities, collocations and unities that belong to semantic subcategory of physical human condition. The biggest part of the research material corpus consists of processual phraseological units with a verb as the major component. As a result we have two semantic groups of phraseological units that denote physical human condition, namely those denoting general physical condition and those of physiological condition. The semantic group of general physical condition is represented by four micro clusters, while the group of physiological human condition includes five micro clusters. The morphological and syntactic analysis revealed the basic structural and grammatical models of phraseological units in the Russian language.
