COVID-19 has changed our lives and the world. To the question of when can they return to their daily lives, many people now come up with the answer that it is impossible to return to their daily lives. It would not be an exaggeration to say that a new era is now open. Therefore, it is time for new trials and challenges in all industries. Marine tourism is a hot issue in the tourism industry in the 21st century, and various organizations are showing rapid growth prospects. In particular, the view that industry related to marine leisure tourism among marine tourism fields can greatly contribute to the development of local economy is dominant. In addition, various practical research results have been suggested. Therefore, the necessity of reorganizing the marine leisure tourism program being developed centering on local governments is coming. Since mass tourism is highly conservative, the class that participates in activity-oriented tourism is mainly composed of young people with strong sense of adventure and challenge. In particular, marine leisure tourism has been centered on young people who are physically healthy, and people who can afford it economically, and marketing activities have been carried out by selecting as a target market. However, due to the corona, the market is rapidly reorganized into family-centered, small group-oriented, nature-oriented, ecological-oriented, and marine leisure activities, and the market is expected to expand and spread to related fields. Therefore, strategic investments at the central and local government levels must be preceded, and this preemptive response is expected to be an alternative to increase the international competitiveness of Korea's tourism industry by creating a new Brand Korea in the post COVID-19 era. For this, first, it is necessary to develop and operate a physical environment and programs for marine leisure tourism as an alternative to activity-oriented tourism activities. In particular, there is a need to prepare for a market that will grow rapidly after the coronavirus through policy support and development centering on the southern coast of Gyeonggi and the coast of Chungnam. Second, healing tourism is necessary for the recovery of a healthy life in terms of body and emotion, relationship and leisure, and the environment. In order to adapt to the new world after the coronavirus, research on marine leisure tourism as an active model of healing tourism and with the central government Joint research and preparation by local governments are required. Third, a variety of policies and institutional support measures to actively respond to local tourism demand by building a marina-centered marine leisure complex by region, and to lead safety, activity, small-scale, and quality-oriented tourism activities after the coronavirus. There is a need to prepare this, and it is necessary to pursue various development strategies from the corporate side as well.
