In recent years, vehicles are changing from means of transportation to means of providing various conveniences by reflecting the needs of consumers. In response to these changes, vehicle digital technology is developing, and the installation of mobile and multi-devices in vehicles is also increasing significantly. However, the more various digital technologies in the vehicle are reflected, the more handling mobile and multi-devices while driving, which may increase the risk of traffic accidents due to distraction and carelessness. This thesis investigates the installation position of the microphone in different types of vehicles, and presents the optimal installation position of the microphone in the vehicle, which is recognized the driver's speech when the driver makes a sound while seated in the driver's seat.
