This study analyzes the thought of Chuang-tzu from an economic point of view and seeks economic and educational implications as an alternative to cope with the era of uncertainty, in which both economic philosophy and the validity of principle are criticized. His thought is still valuable because the current economic situation is very similar to that of the Warring States period in ancient China, in which his thought proved its real worth. Thereby, this interdisciplinary study, which re-examines the thought of Chuang-tzu with plenty of humanistic imagination from a modern economic point of view is very important.
