Through The 2015 Revised National Curriculum, the Unification Education in school gained a foothold for taking off one-step higher. The unification education in school mainly focuses on the Moral Education and Social Studies, and the newly-established ‘Integrated Social Studies’ aims for the integration of those two subjects. Therefore, if the ‘Unification’ is selected as a Big Idea and synthetically handled in ‘Integrated Social Studies’, the existing problems with the Unification Education in school that has been fragmentarily performed could be partially overcome. By complementing the achievement standard for the integrated approach to the unification and also selecting the ‘Unification’ as the Big Idea through the partial/constant revision of the current 「2015 Integrated Social Studies Curriculum」, the Unification Education in school could establish an opportunity to achieve the qualitative take-off.
