Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) is a protein drug that specifically delivers highly toxic anticancer drugs to cancer tissues. Monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE) is a drug that blocks tubulin polymerization. Although it has very strong cytotoxicity, it is being developed as an ADC anticancer agent. A structure called a linker is required to attach this drug to a single antibody. As a condition of the linker, it should effectively bind to the drug and at the same time not affect the activity of the drug.
