Ultra high molecular weight polypropylene (UHMWPP) is much higher than general-purpose PP and usually means a molecular wcigt more than 1 millon. UHMWPP is expected to have special properties such as high strength and high heat resistance etc.<SUP>1,2</SUP> But the processability of UHMWPP is very poor due to it’s high melt viscosity. To Improve processability, we blended low molecualr weight polypropylene (LMWPP) and UHMWPP using a Kneader.
