Aerogels are light materials with highly porosity, large specific surface area and low thermal conductivity. Organic aerogels such as polyurethane (PU) aerogels, which have low thermal conductivity and excellent mechanical and chemical resistance, are attracting attention as alternatives to inorganic aerogels.
