Dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC) liposome was surface-decorated with hydrophobically modified poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (Hm PNIPAM), and gold nanoparticle (GNP) that capped with hydrophobically modified thiolated carboxymethylcellulose (Hm TL-CMC). GNP was prepared using Hm TL-CMC as a reducing agent for gold ions and a capping material for GNP.
