Although chemotherapy drugs can elicit anti-tumor immune responses by releasing tumor antigens via immunogenic cell death (ICD) to tumor cells, immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment by an immune checkpoint of tumor cells remains a significant obstacle for improving therapeutic efficacy.
